Did you know that recycling an aluminum can takes 95% less energy than creating a new one – roughly enough energy to power a television for three hours straight? Oh, and did you know that aluminum can be recycled indefinitely? Yet due to limited availability of recycling resources and outlets, Americans recycle only 56% of their aluminum cans which means we add over one million pounds of aluminum to our landfills every year!
