  • How does it work?

The Aluminum Can Bank is created from new reverse vending technology that pays recyclers by the can – not by the pound. Recyclers can simply walk up to the Aluminum Can Bank, follow the instructions on the video screen, insert a few cans and walk away with cash in their pockets and the satisfaction of knowing they are helping the environment. Additionally, recyclers can choose to donate their earnings to a selection of charities with the simple push of a button.

  • How much is an aluminum can worth?

Aluminum is valuable. It’s very much in demand, and recycled aluminum is just as useful and desirable as “new” aluminum. Depending on where you live, aluminum cans are worth about one to two cents per can. This may not seem like a lot, but when you consider the amount of cans thrown away each day it can really add up.
